"Thanks to you both for hosting the inaugural Cartoon Everything Workshop! It was my first on-site workshop and what a way to start! 

Ok, let’s talk about the setting. The Highlights Foundation Retreat Center is a wondrous place in rural Pennsylvania. The natural setting is peaceful and restorative, the staff are all friendly and helpful, and the meals are prepared by top-notch chefs. All of this care and comfort made it easy to relax and to be CREATIVE.

The social aspect of the workshop was also a boon. As artists, many of us spend solitary lives, and it was enriching to meet others of a like mind and to see all the variations is what we do and aspire to do! I made new friends and connections that I don’t take lightly.

You, as teachers and successful working professionals brought your unique talents to bear (pun intended). A relaxed curriculum of hands on training mixed with cartoon history, and exercises to stretch those comfort zones were just what I needed. I couldn’t recommend this workshop any higher.
