Who We Are
Christian “Meesimo” Meesey
Christian Meesey is an illustrator & caricaturist whose clients include Disney, Warner Brothers, IDW, Cosmic Lion, and Image Comics. His book TIME SHOPPER (written by Tony Fleecs) was a 2023 National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award nominee for Best Graphic Novel.
He was voted 4th place in the ISCA (International Society of Caricature Artists)Top Ten Best Caricature Artists in 2022.
Meesey recently earned his MFA in Illustration, under the tutelage of Hall of Fame Illustrator C.F. Payne, from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford, CT.
He creates TURBO HAWK and GHOST AGENTS (Eisner nominated!) comics for Cosmic Lion Productions and teaches part time somewhere in the Midwest (probably St. Louis or Chicago ).
Kelly Light
Kelly Light was born off Exit 149 on the Garden State Parkway. She grew up down the shore in New Jersey surrounded by giant roadside dinosaurs, cotton candy colors, and skee ball sounds. Schooled on Saturday morning cartoons and Sunday Funny pages, she picked up a pencil, started drawing, and never stopped.
She is the Author/Illustrator of the "Louise" series published by Harper Collins. She is up to her elbows in corn, illustrating Corny, written by Samantha Berger for Macmillan, Spring 2026. She has illustrated characters for children’s publishing, licensed cartoon merchandise, and animations for clients such as Bloomsbury, Walt Disney Productions, Hanna-Barbera, Peanuts, Henson Productions, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., and many others. She is also an assistant Art Professor at the University of Hartford and Connecticut State Community College.
